Born in Middlebury, New Haven, Connecticut, son of Jess Bronson and Esther Osborn. Family data; conversion to Mormonism; move to Nauvoo, Illinois; exodus west; settlement at Puncho, Nebraska, 1846-1847; enlistment of Clinton Doneral Bronson in the Mormon Battalion and incidents of the march; arrival in Salt Lake Valley, 1847; battle with the crickets; mission and death in Michigan.
